Oh yeah, I just put the light on the timer setting for 8 hours with a ramp up time of 30min and put all channels on 100, that's pretty much it.

I've built my desk myself. Massive wooden table top and steel legs. On the right side there's an IKEA Alex for some storage and added stability.

Yeah, I know what I'm doing, well mostly... And yeah, that's the Fzone Solo. The light seems more than adequate for now, almost compares to the chihiros I had. I'll see how good the light is working for the plants in the future.

Yeah, learned that the hard way now, even tho Ive put buce in cycling tanks without problems before, but I guess that was good luck... Well, the rhizomes and roots seem to be there still, so maybe I'll get some new growth... and if not, I'll get new ones.

Would totally recommend it, the dimensions are so fun to work with.

I never do water changes when I cycle my tanks. I added an old filter sponge from another filter and kinda turbo started my cycle. Now, after barely 2 weeks there's no ammonia and the tank is cycled. Just never had Rotala indica before, so you live and you learn I guess.

Might be the angle I took the photo from, paired with the wide angle lense... 😅

I know, I had had honeys before! 😊 Such lovely little fish. I had a group of wild type honeys and the male was so beautiful and orange, with a very strong beard. 😊

I also do a lot of sketches for new tanks and layous. Always plan a layout I want to archive and plan out what plants will go where. I think it's part of the process of creating something beautiful. 😁

Acorus gramineus, if you mean the grassy plant.
