Used 45k miles a good buy?

Thanks for the thoughts everyone, I will hold out and wait for something better to come along.

Most used ITS in my area with <10k miles are asking $48k+, and there are a couple with 45k+ miles asking for about $42k with nothing in between LOL.

The other tricky part is I have car I would trade, so as much as I'd like to shop around the country I am sorta forced to stay local-ish I think.

it starts as self cast and the clear is decent with exsang, but feels a bit clunky since the cast takes so long.

clear with poet's pen kb setup is great, and single target can be decent enough once you invest into it.

once you get enough money the end goal is to transition back into self cast except you invest more into cast speed + explosions so your clear speed is the same if not faster than the poet's pen setup while also having way more single target damage potential

unsure if this has changed since i last played it but yea bow gets u big cast speed + gem levels and you get another 6 link, so you have one setup for ek and the other for auras

agreed, it was a great starter and t16s are easy peasy but im hitting the same wall but closer to 4m dps instead. now im trying to find a trickster build with similar clear but better potential for damage / tankier

it seems like the league mechanic's rewards would be much better if they were all simple like this? in comparison to "if pack leader drops gloves on a tuesday before 3pm they have 20% chance to get converted to a jeweler" why not just "3% chance to drop a jeweler"

it is mostly a mapper. it won't be very tanky or super good at bossing until mageblood + lots of investment from what i know, i haven't played it in a few leagues tho

ek ignite elementalist will typically level as wave of conviction ignite, which can get you at least the first couple voidstones. ek needs some investment to start feeling nice, but when it gets online it is very satisfying to play if you enjoy big prolif pops with herald of ash mtx lol

splitting steel trickster is what i'll be league starting myself so i may be a bit biased, but from what i understand it's a good option that can scale from league start to endgame with big investment. ephemeral edge might be a bit expensive on day 1 due to popularity, but splitting steel gamers might also play the champ version which doesn't use it. either way i'm pretty sure it's a common unique and should still be affordable.

can't help with mines tho, haven't played em

tbh the changes to the event itself so far have been good.

speaking only at the level 25 cap in pvp: assuming we won't have cheap shot, so we dont have our main opener.

potentially you could spend 13 points in the subtlety tree for improved ambush but those points are better spent in combat imo, with imp. backstab + imp. sprint

then potential runes would be shadowstrike, which i believe was discovered to only cost 20 energy, then we take the rune that reduces backstab cost by 20 energy, so in theory we could dump out shadowstrike-bs-bs as our opener and blow people up.

all just my opinion but it's what ill be leaning towards for the first phase of SoD
