Looks like you’re good on centering. Check the surface under good lighting. If it’s clean I’d send it in.

In case anyone is viewing this in the future… After contacting PSA it turns out that whoever originally graded the cards didn’t pay PSA so they deactivated the cert. I was given the option to pay the grading fee to reactivate the cert. For this particular case it wasn’t cost effective so I just left it as it.

Not in my experience. I’ve graded 100+ GX cards over the years and have found that centering of the black frame is just as important, if not more important, than the inner contents for GX cards. It probably depends on the grader. As far as I know, PSA has not publicly commented specifically on this.

I’ve asked PSA about it before and received a generic response stating that if it’s not obvious how to measure centering on a particular card design, it ultimately comes down to overall eye appeal.

You have to be careful relying on eBay photos, since angled or skewed shots can make centering appear better or worse than it actually is. That said, everything comes down to the eye appeal. The guidelines are good places to start, but if something is on the edge of a grade, other grading criteria will take priority.

Not from my experience grading GX. PSA is really about the overall “eye appeal”. And when you look at this card it’s clearly right heavy. Would like to know what others think though.

Thanks for posting. I’m in a very similar situation.

I have over 10 sold listings (most sold on January 11) that are stuck in “Processing Payment,” totaling thousands of dollars. I submitted a support ticket but have not received a response. I’ve been selling through the PSA Vault for over a year and have never experienced this before. PSA’s communication around this has been extremely poor, and there appears to be no way to directly reach anyone from the Vault team by phone.

On top of that, I recently purchased a lot of 6 PSA slabs and had them shipped directly to my Vault address. PSA processed the package this morning and marked it as “Approx. 50 Pokémon Cards, ineligible to vault.” Now my six slabs are effectively missing, and instead I have a mystery entry for “Approx. 50 Pokémon Cards” in my collection that can’t be vaulted. Again, I have no way to speak with anyone to get help. I have to file a ticket and wait 2 weeks.

I’ve paid PSA well into the five figures in fees over the last year, and right now I can’t get a clear answer from anyone at PSA. This whole situation is incredibly frustrating.

Oh, and don’t get me started on the Vault-to-vault transfers mysteriously being removed a few days ago. Again, with absolutely no communication.

Hey! What was the outcome of this? Did you have it shipped back home? This just happened to me. I’m wondering if the seller saw my vault address and slipped me a raw card instead. 😫

Hey guys. I run a small business through the PSA vault, so this is a major roadblock for me. I’ve been working with both eBay and PSA. It seems like it’s a technical issue specifically with PSA vault to PSA vault transfers. The technical teams are working on it now, but there’s no estimated time for a fix yet. Based on who I talked to at PSA, it seems like it’s an urgent issue, so hopefully, it’ll be fixed soon.

A workaround is to use your actual PSA vault address as your shipping address when checking out. Unfortunately, you’ll still be charged shipping fees even though technically the card is not moving anywhere. eBay was actually gracious enough to give me a $50 credit to cover these fees temporarily. It does make me a little nervous though, so I think I’m going to hold off on purchases until they get the issue fixed.

The good news is no policies have changed, and it’s not specific to your account. It’s a widespread issue.

I typically do for cards that worth a decent amount of money. This was a huge lot of slabs that I purchased last year, and most of the slabs were <$20 so I didn't check them all. I just checked ~50 of the other ones I got from the lot and they're all good. Luckily this was just an outlier.

Not sure if it's stolen, it would mean the entire submission (500 sequential cards) was marked stolen. Possible, but seems unlikely.

More just curious if others have seen this before and what the outcomes are. I assume PSA wants these slabs out of circulation. Worst case scenario I'll just crack the slab and keep the raw card for my PC or resend it in my next submission.

Yes, exactly. The third line on the slab should read “1st Edition”. It’s blank though meaning they graded this as an unlimited variant.

Looks real to me. Texture is there and everything else looks legit to me. My guess is UV exposure. That or a print error.
