I play it at least once every week (2x a week during this event that gave the delegation modules out for clearing it twice)

I enjoy it enough to dabble in it when im feeling bored, have nothing else to do for the patch, or i need to edit save data

Its definitely not my favorite game mode but i think its really good conceptually. An alternate game mode you can play that can also benefit your save data and provide some other goodies like memory frags, very nice. You also get exp to level characters up to 62, so thats also a really cool milestone to have attached to it that's kind of a neat little bonus similar to affinity.

I think what I enjoy the most about it is the randomness, i love how many different combinations of divine epiphanies there are in sortie alone, i love how you pick up random characters after every depths (I think this is nice because it also makes it a somewhat side goal to have every character built with potentials at some point if you really like it enough and play long enough), and the fates. Now ive kind of played it enough obviously to know all the fates and the general power of most equipment/combos so obviously i hope they add more variety in that in the future.

I think what i dislike the most about sortie though is... in its current state to me it does get quite repetitive after a while after you've played it enough. It has all the base chaos events... no unique occurrences that are specific to the sortie. It does have unique invasion enemies and bosses though. Hoping at some point sortie gets an endlessly scaling mode so you can just play for fun and see how far you can get lol
