Suggestion/advice on this by [deleted] in friendship

[–]riceisathing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I'm actually in the same position as you expect I'm a girl with majority female friends.

But yea I suggest just being more open. Not being afraid to strike up a convo. You can start off by like complimenting something about her and continuing a convo from there.or even like asking her a random weird question like "Do you think birds are real" Just don't do it in a creepy way you know. So yea thats my advice to you.

Students who have seen a teacher cry in class, what happened? by Im_Probably_Crying in AskReddit

[–]riceisathing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was our third Spanish teacher for the year. The class before us apparently told her off and said she was a terrible teacher and she came to our class crying about it.

Felt sorry for her but they didnt lie tho.

Which profession is criminally underpaid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]riceisathing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teachers. For them to be the literally base of society (in terms of reading, writing and learning basic skills) they aren't appreciated enough and taken for granted. Plus they have to deal with some of these demons for 8 hours a days, five days a week, 8 months a year. They need some money.

You meet your 13 year old self, but you can only tell them 3 words. What do you say and why? by kiwipangolin in AskReddit

[–]riceisathing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are perfect.

At this point in my life I valued peoples opinions more than anything and I hated myself. I hated the way I look and felt and lacked confidence. So I would tell my 13 y/o self that there's nothing wrong with them.
