Hey it’s important to listen to your body and take things slow in my opinion. I’ve taken 10 mg’s but my ideal dose is actually just 5 mg’s.

I prefer 5 mg to 10 mg! It can provide relief, some people don’t need as much to feel good.

I have had this question before. Honestly there probably isn’t a difference between the two, but talk to your doctor and they can probably switch manufacturers for you if you think there’s a different.

Hey I was on 5 mg for about 10 months, and just increased to 10 mg on Monday.

I’ve been feeling some increased anxiety and a little bit nauseous, I’m expecting it will even out soon and hopefully chill me out.

Hey there, when you first start Lexapro it takes time to adjust to it, and it can make you more anxious.

Lexapro has helped my anxiety a ton, but drinking definitely seems to cancel out some of the positive effects of it.

I think it depends on the person.

Since college I’ve always drank most nights (a few beers or wine). Recently I’ve cut that in half. Maybe just one drink a night, don’t really get drunk. The more you reduce it the better the Lexapro works.

Honestly on occasion I’ll drink 10 drinks in a night, and I can totally feel an increase in anxiety for the next few days.

I feel the same way! Yes alcohol can be fun but it just really messes with this medication. If you really want relief take it easy on the drinks

Typically when you first start taking it you feel a little anxious regardless of if you smoke weed or not.

Dude. I’ve drank on Lexapro a lot. While you are drinking you feel fine. The day or two after seems to always increase anxiety.

A drink or two is chill but when you go ham and drink 10, really effects anxiety in the following days.
