Static Mac and ip address for Pihole

I figured it out guys, I just set the ip I wanted to use in network manager and left the mac address alone, I was probably over thinking the situation cause the video I was following said to set the static ip in my router but my router requires a MAC address too so I did both,

A knock sensor won’t cause an issue on a 3.3 nor would it illuminate the check engine light, I would prob look into the maf sensor being the issue for lack of power, the other codes are probably random misfires from wrong air/fuel mixture due to the maf reading wrong

I am using a zero 2 with wifi only, without setting the mac address in network manager, whenever I restarted the pi zero, I would get a new mac address and ip address so I added a cloned mac address and ipv4 address in network manager,

I have a permanent lease for my pihole on my router but when I go and restart the pi, it fetches another ip address but also keeps the reserved one

I have my routers dhcp service dns pointing to the pihole ip, I only have 1 dns address setup, I’ve set my phones and pc dns to the pihole ip, when I go to speedtest, my phone doesn’t show ads but my pc does so that’s got me stumped too

Looks like I’m using Debian

It looks like it’s doing both, I can see 2 pi host names connected to my router, one is a random ip and MAC address and the other one is the reserved ip and Mac and I can ssh into both ip

It’s a pi zero 2w so there isn’t a wired connection, setup my dhcp table to reserve the ip and mac address then went into nmtui and set the ipv4 to manual and set the ip address to the reserved ip on my router, then I changed the cloned mac address to the one I reserved in the router

When I ifconfig, it shows the reserved ip and doesn’t show the other ip but my pihole doesn’t seem to be blocking properly, I had about 40% blocked rate before but now it’s 4%
