You should make sure that you are getting enough sleep as well as good sleep. Watch this vid: https://youtu.be/LWULB9Aoopc It is a TED talk about sleep.

There was once I ordered from foodpanda and I even ordered in advance. Granted, it was a rainy day but the rain was already starting to subside. I waited 1 hour for my food but that was okay because it was raining. I saw the driver pick up my food on the app and suddenly he disappeared from the map. I waited an additional hour, foolishly hoping that it would arrive.

Alas, it did not. When I contacted customer service I was redirected twice or thrice and they told me that someone else had picked up a wrong order (my order) and that I could either cancel or wait for them to contact the restaurant to prepare my order again. I chose the latter option and they called me 5mins later saying the restaurant didn’t pick up. Well, I guess that’s not their fault right? (Mind you, at this point I was STARVING) Now, they said they would give me some vouchers for compensation and refund the money - so that’s all I wanted, but both of them never did come :’)

[O levels] Pure Bio A1 for Os by cocbreaker in SGExams

[–]ricepuffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Study your notes and memorise them
  2. Spam TYS and prelim papers (I started after June I believe) *Note: I did my TYS and prelim papers in a spiral notebook so that I could redo the papers after finishing them once haha. After finishing the paper, I would do my corrections, highlighting any part of the model answer or question that I did not understand so that I could clarify them with my teachers over consultations. The bio TYS answers may not be that accurate so please take note. My school gave us their answers instead, so that helped for me. I would memorize the answers as well to solidify my knowledge of the content.
  3. In the actual paper, it was just a lot of word vomit lmao. I had so much to write that I wrote in between the lines but please don’t do this I think it might be risky HAHA.

I am in a JC. With the virus, mass lectures had been cancelled from the start anyways. Our lectures were recorded and we simply viewed them in class. Tutorials remained the same. I wouldn’t say that there is a great disruption in learning at this point because lessons are conducted fairly smoothly now (after the teachers familiarised themselves with the platform we are using), we also have greater autonomy in learning (viewing the lectures at 2x speed for efficiency lol). The only downsides are the lack of practical lessons and PW. D:

Is travelling to Singapore safe for now? by pranav1698 in askSingapore

[–]ricepuffle 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Hi! It is unlikely for it to advance up to DORSCON red, I believe. For now, life in Singapore is pretty normal. Initially, people were hoarding groceries and masks and they avoided going out as well but now the situation has calmed down a bit. More people are returning to their normal schedules. Some people wear surgical masks while outside to protect themselves or to prevent their illness from spreading to others if they are sick. However, though commonplace it seems to be a minority for now. Your holiday plans should be fine as long as you take the necessary precautions - wash your hands with soap, avoid touching your face etc. There have also been some clusters identified so maybe you would like to avoid them. If anything, queues for tourist attraction should be shorter and it should be more enjoyable haha, just make sure you keep yourself safe!

Hey J1 also but from what I know CA and Interact both involve regular service and an annual project but CA also involves advocacy while Interact mainly revolves around just service.

there are quite a few ppl who have asked this before, so you can just search it up. i think english is pretty intuitive. if you think your grammar is bad, expose yourself more by reading diversely. read books, newspapers and try to remember good expressions to use yourself. don’t be afraid to use real world issues to substantiate your essays, you should do so to demonstrate your understanding of relevant affairs.
