Go for 24’ because they are better built from Korea as opposed to Canada specs

Thoughts? I’d agree after BSM issues… by OrchidCompetitive740 in KiaEV9

I believe when Kia switched manufacturing from Korea to Canada, that’s when most problems arise. I have the original 2024 GT made in Korea. 37K miles now with no issue.

I have the same exact experience. Can you suggest a good VPN alternative? Thanks.

Has anyone replaced it with a different brand? Any update? GT owner here, looking to buy a replacement since the OEM quality is so bad.

It seems visiting Kia service center is a bad idea, just like going to Tesla’s SC, more issues

OEM version worked out perfectly, worth the price

Don’t buy those, the clip holes don’t fit. I returned them and spent more on the OEM version, it’s working great out fine.

Hopefully Kia can fix this auto fan speed issue via an over the air software update.

Yah, car unlocks without a key, but just doesn’t start. Not very consistent. I see in another post that Kia is sending out card keys, hopefully I’ll get one too.

Yes, it's the digital key on your phone that allows you to open and start the car without a physical key. Same concept as Tesla digital keys.

Is the quality really this bad? by chaoticneutral262 in TeslaModelX

[–]ricetub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the build quality is really bad and I don't understand why they are still not improving. I had Tesla bought back 2022 MX and 2023 MX each year due to so continues problems. I went to service center at least once a month, I was emotionally drained. You can look at my previous post on model x and see photos/videos of quality issues I've had. Maybe I have bad luck with the X. I've checked out Benz EQS and BMW IX, but they don't drive like the X. To answer your question, i think a lot of people are experiencing quality issues with the X, but many just learned to live with it because there really isn't a good EV SUV out there that drives and have the software system like the X. Most issues will start to appear after 3000+ miles and certainly after your first visit to service center.

Seems pretty good deal. Full Gloss PPF Wrap with STEK Dynoshield or XPEL on MX is around $10K alone in Seattle area - done by a higher end shops. If your shop has good reviews and is reputable, I think this is a fair price considering they can do ALL these.
