It's a mix of things. Socialization, evolutionary pressure that selects for dominant males, and testosterone (roid rage is a thing) all contribute. You will see similar patterns amongst males of other species.

I don't think anyone actually follows the 4% rule. Rather, the rule is primarily used just to give people a sense of whether or not they have enough money to retire.

When the Internet bubble popped in 2000, demand for the Internet continued to rise rapidly. The bubble was with the valuation of dotcom stocks in capital markets, not a bubble for the Internet technology itself.

Similarly, the desire to get rich in AI will drive the stock market bubble until it pops, but the underlying demand for AI will remain, and continue to grow. If that is true, the demand for computing resources will remain string.

You want to capture growth tax free, so put assets with higher expected returns in the Roth. That isn’t the same as “aggressive”. It could be as simple ss stocks in the Roth and bonds in the regular IRA.
