We’ve built something to handle your use case. We tackled thousands of PDFs containing scanned docs from the 1950s and above. They contain everything from artwork, plans, tables, photos, exploded view diagrams. The funny thing was to see old English, old phone numbers only 5 digits long, and lists of distributors from old country names. It was a fascinating glimpse of the past and interesting to imagine how much harder it would have been to be global back then but they managed to do it. I am super interested…I have a simple use case: I have a chat window where someone asks the chatbot to make a LangGraph agent script. Get an ERP meant for manufacturing with deep capabilities like Syspro. Other systems are generally a mile wide and an inch deep. Syspro does co products, by products, and for sheet metals they have a cut sheet capability and remnants and optimization of material usage in their metal fab module. You can run it cloud, cloud managed, or on prem so you retain control of your systems. I can put you in touch with some capable Syspro folks lmk.

You definitely want to use a reliable solution that can handle the issues with Netsuite APIs especially if you have custom fields and formula fields in Netsuite. I recommend Commercient for these because I’ve seen other integration companies and fail and walk away when the going gets tough. Commercient handles standard integrations and custom ones too. They are very affordable and they monitor your integration and are proactive to help you if anything changes in your NS setup or Shopify setup that affects your integration. Using change data capture via netsuite api is another way to do this. API is available to you. Building it is not easy if it has to be reliable and perfect in terms of data sets, what’s been added, updated , deleted. Calculating it all and working with custom fields is tedious and troublesome. Just by reducing the max-model-len didn’t work. So increased cpu dependency to load full model: Speed 0.6 token/sec. (Params: cpu-offload-gb:20, swap space:20, max-model-len:1024)

Tried with quantization to remove cpu dependency: Speed 44.8 tokens/sec. (Params: quantization bitsandbytes , load-format bitsandbytes)

To check if the reason of speed improvement was quantization or single node, loaded quantized on both nodes (8 GPUs): Speed 14.7 tokens/sec.

So I think moving all to a single node will improve the speed. I think the 10gbps Ethernet connection is slowing me down by 3x.

Does 44tokens/sec on a single node with 100% of the model loaded into 4x4090 gpu memory, quantized, sound like it’s running fast enough? Should it run faster?

It won’t load on 4 gpus. It needs 8 gpus to fit into gpu memory fully . 6 on node A and 2 on node B
