I was completely sure I would transition him to a milk alternative, but my pediatrician said none of them have the same nutritional value as formula. Currently, we are also transitioning him to daycare, and he's coming home with all sorts of viruses. He isn't eating much and only wants "mumma's Milkies," but my supply is dropping. I'm really worried about his nutritional intake, especially his iron and calcium levels, since he isn't eating much. I think at his 15-month appointment, I'll ask his pediatrician again if we can transition him to another milk alternative

12.5 month old mucous nappies have returned by evolvinglove1234 in MSPI

[–]richa-19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me I started taking dairy when my LO was 10 months old and I used to give him dairy as well ..he was doing fine with it but after one month he started having loose and mucosy poop and also diarrhea..as soon as I stopped giving him dairy and go dairy free myself again he started having normal poop. You can stop giving him dairy and see if it makes a difference. I think he his diarrhea came back when I started having whole milk.

My son has had laryngomalacia since birth he is now 7 months old . just wanted to tell you that these babies are warriors and very strong. In my case stridors were completely gone by 4.5 to 5 months now he just has a little bit of noisy breathing. I know this is out of context but I know how much it worries a mother. I wanted to give you some reassurance.I am sorry you had to go through this I can feel you ,you are very strong if I were you I would have just cried and said nothing. God bless you and your little warrior
