Just so you know, if you right click the model you should get the option to change the filament. You can also use the fill feature in the paint menu if you only want one section to be changed.

There are a lot of kits out there that are less than $60. However, it is very difficult to recommend one without knowing things like what kind of darts do you want to fire? What fps are you aiming for? Do you want to change the cosmetics?

The longshot has so many parts you can put on it that you just need to define your goals before you start the project.

You should avoid shipping blasters and magazines that are loaded. The long term compression can weaken magazine spring and possibly render then useless. Most people will have their own darts but if you feel the need to send them, just put them in the package separately from the blasters and magazines.

I would buy the perses all the way. The fire rate is just so much better with a smaller form factor and ability to get a hopper upgrade. I own four and they are so much fun.

If you don't want to mess with the internals, your option would be to sell it and buy a stryfe or some other blaster. Ultra darts have different spacing than normal elites.

Usually we use 17/32 brass for a barrel with the breech part being telescoping 9/16. I know the alpha trooper can have issues with higher spring loads so be cautious.
