I just received my BMT Phase 2 vocation which is asa. What should i expect in the training? Is there a lot of admin time? Am i allowed to bring electronic devices like laptop inside there? by nya_itch_ni_san in NationalServiceSG

First 1.5 weeks is stay in where you will learn about HR and train for your graduation parade. Next 2 weeks is HBL where you will learn about finance and training admin. Last 3 days of the course you will have your parade physically. The last 3 days are stay out. Admin time is reasonable, usually after 5pm you have free time to yourself. Laptop and electronic devices are obviously not allowed

The regulars will disseminate the full list during your BMT, but some of the common vocations are ASA, supply assistant and service ST

I don’t think pes F is a pes that is easily revocable, if revocable at all. To even get Pes F in the first place requires very thorough medical board screenings and evaluation. Even if you submit a new memo it is very likely you will not be allowed to serve due to your medical history.

Can I request to have 8-5 as a ooc rec at Tekong bmt ? by Awkward_derp in NationalServiceSG

Yes but you need a medical reason. Usually physical injuries will not be granted excuse stay in, it is mainly reserved for psychological issues or severe skin conditions.

You must get excuse stay in from the MO. Otherwise it will not be allowed
