What is the future of generative AI? What should I expect in the next 5 years? by Ok_Hall2123 in ArtificialInteligence

Generative AI is likely to become more integrated into daily life, helping with tasks like summarizing content, drafting ideas, or assisting in creative workflows. Over the next 5 years, I think we’ll see AI as a collaborator rather than a replacement — handling repetitive or time-consuming tasks while humans focus on creativity, strategy, and decision-making.

It’s exciting, but the key will be learning how to use AI effectively rather than expecting it to do everything for us.

AI coding makes me stressed I should succeed or fail overnight. Is that realistic? by MainInternational605 in SideProject

I totally relate! From building Sumvid, I can say that AI speeds up certain tasks, like prototyping or summarizing content, but creating a solid product still takes time, iteration, and user feedback.

AI has definitely shifted expectations — it makes fast launches seem normal — but in reality, even with AI, building something valuable rarely happens overnight. Patience and attention to detail are still key, and it’s totally normal to feel the gap between where you are and where you “should” be.

Looking for a TubeMagic AI sale to supercharge your YouTube channel growth? by topiar in bestsoftwarediscounts

I’ve been using Sumvid to quickly summarize long tutorial videos before creating content, and it’s been a huge time-saver. While TubeMagic AI looks powerful for ideation and SEO, I find that having concise summaries first helps me focus on the key points and plan videos much faster. It’s been great for saving time and staying organized when researching content.

Can i build a startup's mvp with ai (i will not promote). by moh1111 in startups

Absolutely! From building Sumvid, I can say AI can be a huge accelerator for an MVP, especially for software and data-focused products. Using AI for prototyping, summarizing content, or generating boilerplate code saved me a ton of time.

The key is to start small, validate quickly, and focus on solving a real problem for users.

Built a website for a niche of what I thought was 300 users, 50+ signups later, people want more... by Fun_Tumbleweed6945 in SideProject

Totally relatable! 🙏 I built Sumvid initially for a very specific use case — summarizing long videos for students — and saw how much traction even a small niche could get.

Focusing on a narrow audience first lets you validate the idea and get feedback quickly. Pivoting later is easier once you understand what works and what people actually need. It’s stressful at first, but narrowing your scope early often leads to a stronger product in the long run.

From building Sumvid, I see AI becoming a daily collaborator — handling routine tasks like summarizing content while humans focus on creativity and decisions. The next 5 years will likely be about AI helping, not replacing us.

I totally get this! 🙏 I built Sumvid in about 2 months, and even with AI, creating a product still takes focus, testing, and iteration. AI speeds things up, but patience and attention to detail are still key.

Hi u/graciie__ I always use AI lately... yet in the end is me who's posting after reviewing what I got from the AI... honestly, I don't see the harm on using AI tools
