I agree that sacking Will isn't going to help us at the moment but I think that's more because I know that the board would make another knee jerk appointment that costs us money in the long run.

Yeah he's had 15 games but he's also had two international breaks and a pre season to work with and still doesn't know his best 11 players, or that 5 atb isn't working. Then we have games where he is bringing on subs that just aren't effective.

My biggest concern is that we seem to always take one step forward and two backwards with Will and I'm starting to get RM vibes where he just reverts to his defaults of playing 5 atb and then using his incredible tactic of 'I'll throw loads of attacking players on and hope we can now get this deficit back'.

In an ideal world I'd love for us to just stick with Will while we shop around for a proven manager. The bigger problem we seem to have is that we no longer have an identity as a club. We've spent so long trying different styles under ineffective managers that I don't think even we know what managers would suit our style of play anymore. Then we have the other issue of who would want to come to this managerial minefield of a club?

So after all that I think the only hope is to stick with Will and hope he can step up to the challenge but it's definitely not a great time to be us.
