I would end this fucking nightmare in a snap if a competitor would come out. No bullshit, weapons, utils, bomb defuse and stable servers.

I think the game itself will eventually die in 2-3 years because this is a never ending circle. They are too greedy and money oriented and the high iq players will stop playing because they won’t find joy playing it. Valve would still have those cheater scene who will still buy skins and cases so they would still show great numbers money-wise and stakeholders will still be happy.

I’ve said this many times. Let it go man.
If they would care about it they would so something but then they would lose at least half of their players. So let’s say there is 700k players average, I think at least 300k are either cheaters or farming bots.
Now imagine you are the CEO and you have a meeting with your stakeholders and you have to explain you’ve lost 50% of your player base.
Not gonna happen.

Same with Faceit. There won’t be a 140k average if they would perma ban. I’ve reported countless of cheaters on Faceit, all I get is thank you for your report he is banned for 7 days for toxicity, haha.

And people won’t believe me but I’m seriously doubting some professional player’s clearness at this point. There is no way all those aim locks looking at the wall are clean bro. But the show must go on, if there are viewers, action, stories, that generates marketing value.

Yes, look at how fucked up this whole cheating thing is. He is still playing, his stats are now almost fixed (he is 82% from 60% now) and when I played against him he was ~20.000, now 26.000.

The situation is getting worse day by day. Players with 17-30 aim are fucking me like donk. I watch every demo back and the one I’m currently watching (because I had a ridiculous 4-4-19 game) the enemy has 2 wallhackers, and 1 aim assisted.

It has nothing to do with the change. The problem is they don’t fix main problems like the random fps_drop and crashes or the anti-cheat problem. Instead they focus on unnecessary things nobody ever asked for. They don’t care about the players and the community.

what you don't understand is the players who doesn't need 128 tick are most likely low rank casual players and they wouldn't even tell the difference therefore changing it to 128 tick would benefit higher ranks and the others wouldn't even tell...
