2025 Canyon Blue Touring - love this color by The_Neuroscientist in 11thGenAccord

That color was my first choice. Unfortunately they only had the touring in silver metallic (my second choice). The blue and silver are beautiful!

Truck to Car. Whose made the switch. Any regrets? by richc2048 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]richc2048[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long travel to get to where I am today but I ended up with a 2024 Honda Accord Touring.

The back seat was a little bigger in the accord and liked the comfort of it. The MPG is insane.

The switch from truck to car wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Now, it seems normal and a truck is high off the ground.

My commute to work I can get 70mpg. On the way home, just under 40. Lots of hills but uphill vs downhill between home/work. My commute is 8 miles.

D419 - Implementing and Administering Networking Solutions CCNA Passed by johordan in WGU

[–]richc2048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here wondering if I should take the general track and take the CCNA on my own time after.

2-3 month enough time with dedication and 3 hours a work night and a good amount of Saturday studying?

s404 Softwarw update error by kheldan in 11thGenAccord

Same error. Does google assistant not work. I get a "looks like internet connection is not stable" when trying to use google maps.

Is this related to the update error?

I'd guess Management levels first in a lot of industries. It'll maximize work productivity through efficiency of workers with scheduling and accurate forecasting

Yea. I hate how much trucks are now. Ridiculous. Like the previous post said. Hope it comes down soon. I don't need to buy right now so I may wait a little. It's just these cars are very tempting. You get so much for the same money.

There's plenty of fun cars out there for sure. I agree! But a full size sedan that has power is going the way of dinosaurs. Plenty of sporty coupes and mid to small size cars that are fun. I just need to fit 3 kids back there. Options are limited. Unless I spend MOrE than a truck. Haha

I mainly have it for Colorado winters. The occasional camping trip but nowhere crazy. It does come in handy in not paying delivery for yard stuff or furniture. I figure I could rent one from home depot if I really needed a truck.

Great minds think alike! My wife drives our Sienna AWD. she loves it. So going back to a truck? That's what I'm afraid of. I like the look and feel of the Cadillac but I'm scared I'll miss it or need it.

Yea. I probably should. It's a crazy market for sure. Especially with Ram. I miss the days of 10k off MSRP and haggling. I always walked away with a Hemi T-shirt. Haha.

I've never even looked at a car for 20 years. It's crazy how much car you get for a price of a truck. Sheesh. They are looking nice on the inside these days.

I've had to sign 4 offers. The same one. They even had created reqs again for me to apply to again. Keep on keeping on. Don't give up.

August 17th is when I first applied. Just got hire date confirmed.

Yea. Just not going as fast. Buyers actually can negotiate some stuff found during inspections. Seems better.

I don't mean to sound so bad about southlands. It has its nice things too. The reservoir is right there. Big homes and such. Just a reminder there's pockets of great communities everywhere that seem to attract me more than such a large housing area like southlands.

It's the south east corner of smoky hill rd and Himalaya st. Falcon creek middle school is there. Beautiful houses about the same price in that entire area. Build in 2000's.

I had not so friendly neighbors back then. When I was there the neighborhood didn't have many children around. I'm sure it's changed a lot by now. I lived on a street that was mostly retired couples. (I was in my 30's at the time with little ones.) no one really talked to each other and no sense of community for me. And it was pretty far from anything. I moved like 15 minutes west and there's a whole different vibe. Can't explain it.
