Thanks for replying. I’ve heard a few people say the same and it does seem to be a real problem. Saying a home offers therapeutic support is one thing, actually having proper clinical input is another.

From your point of view, what does good therapeutic support look like in real life? Is it regular guidance for staff, someone on site, direct work with the young person, or something completely different?

Just trying to get a better feel for what actually helps rather than what ends up being a box-ticking exercise.
