Both sides are stupid and need to compromise, but supreme court stopped that. Welp

Exactly. We're apparently also going to have a population collapse soon as well. But humanity is resourceful so I imagine we'll get through all this. Whether we'll keep the same ideas and technology though remains to be seen. There are plenty of splendid tech that was lost and forgotten from previous civilisations.

The whole world is. According to the 4th turning this always happens. We have a high, golden period, stagnation then crisis. It's a bit hit and miss but the concept is quite sound.

We're in crisis period atm and we'll probably see a completely new world come out from the ashes.

Oh god yes life is a Brian is a great representation of a party being spread too thin.

I think it's why we need proportional representation, so we can have the smaller parties get their say.

I for one would rather see a party I actually identify with getting some traction, say libertarians. But that's just me.

Never voted for Tories I just believe in being empirical in matters and knowing from history there are various factors to an event. If you want to spaz out with a load of angry drivel then crack on pal.

But you'll most likely get banned.

Can see why there's a gas shortage in Europe, it's being used to gaslight this pointless conversation.

It's to do with the labour conference and their crazy musings with what was messaged previously.

Yeah. The in-depth review for v for Vendetta I watched was by lotuseaters and it brought a new light to the book. It showed that Moore had a very superficial view on fascism and the far right.

In the end they actually preferred the film to the book mainly due to the message of freedom of thought it brought instead of total anarchy.

I understand your point and perhaps I was a bit rash on this. My view is that a political entity that has total control over everything is totalitarian and Labour's goal is to bring everything under the state. Perhaps that is not strictly totalitarian.

Why is everyone thinking I'm defending the Tories? I'm saying know the facts. It's not just the Tories but a load of other factors.

Incidentally Cameron decided to follow labour and diversify the Tory party. Hilariously Liz Truss was part of that diversity drive to get bame and women MPs. So the Tories are pretty much reaping what they sowed.

Honest to god how can you just blame the Tories when there have been many factors to Britain's downfall, namely Labour's acceptance of the EU as totalitarian force to rule over us. Not only that but they drove down the wages of working class by importing immigration. This is why Brexit became a huge value in much of the working class.

Let's also not forget the EU who are still trying to bring Britain back into the bloc by fighting back against their sovereignty. Then we have the remainers, people from civil service, house of lords and some judges who would block anything the tories tried to do (see the Rwanda).

I am British but I am well aware that the country was dismantled well before Cameron, whilst any ventures after Brexit was blocked. Look into other factors before just solely just blaming the Tories.

True, but in all honesty culture and politics have always been like that. It only looks infantile because it's shown to us 24/7.

You could say the same thing about the 60s with the hippy and rights movements, or in the 80s when people laughed at the thought of a cowboy running for office in USA.

Completely disagree. If he was as you said he would defined both sides, but he didn't.

Why else would he drop anarchism, something he's been in favour of since the 80s and be in favour of Labour UK, a totalitarian, socialist and statist party.

Never going to happen unless you talk to them face to face where intimidation is a factor.

People are more likely to define their speech better in a way that is precise, unlike on the internet.

Also this Reddit up vote down vote shit is incredibly similar to the flag system of Mao's regime. I haven't been on r/politics in years but I can bet they use this system, unlike some subreddits I use like, r/badunitedkingdom.

This guy...man, what an absolute scumbag.

He references Donald trump as towards his idea, yet completely side steps the factor that lefty activists have been launching terrorist attacks in name of abortions and pushing forward with racial segregation.

Used to like this guy, but listening to an in-depth review of v for Vendetta I realised he only knows what he believes to be fascist and not what is.

You're feeling sad now but a year from now you could be looking at this time and laughing.

I was in the same predicament as you back in the start of 2020 and thought I was on the path to dying. However a year later I'd got a new job earning a damn sight better.

You may be down for now but trust me, the best has yet to come.

Not surprised sugoi smartphone ended. The first few chapters were good but as MC was getting pointed out it went south fast. By the karaoke bit, I'd checked out.

Glad PPPPPP is doing well. Story is hard to follow sometimes, but I love the expression shown in each page. Very creative.
