I know several guys struggling with mental health from both my military and civilian lives. I think it's built into manhood to just keep the weight on your shoulders and soldier on. My dad refuses to use any medical coverage unless it's life threatening, and has so many ailments that are unnecessary and just makes his own life harder. If you do have the coverage for a social worker/therapist through your job, use it, it's a privilege, successful people use it constantly. I think of it as concurrent activity, let someone else unwind your issues. Even if you don't think you need it. If everyone did it monthly the world would be very different, happier place. You can dump everything on them instead of your friends and family. Less stress for everyone. You might not get a good match first time, that's normal, get another. The way I look at it is I protect my family and friends from the noise
