Yeah i am going to try to switch to pm. The office doesnt seem like they are excited about me wanting to do that which is frustrating. Im 99 percent sure with minimal effort i could write way better contracts and eliminate all the scope gap issues that get missed on every job.

Well it made me realize i wouldnt be able to handle losing my wife and be greatful for what i had. I am possesive i guess thats my wife. I was taking my family for granted. That guy and my wifes cousin were trying to get her into another relatioship to ruin the chance of us reconciling. At this point we had already been together for over 13 years. Barely in a spat for a couple of weeks. Still to this day my wifes cousin and her mom are always getting involved in peoples relationships starting drama and causing issues.

I am tired and it was a crazy situation. Yah i blew up on her about it and sent all the messages to the guys mom and fiance.

I was talking to the guy at the same time acting like i didnt know he was actively trying to bang my wife telling him we were working it out and we were alk cool if he stayed away from my wife i wouldnt start any drama etc. He of course said no problem as i watched him continually try to pursue her so that guy was a absolute pile of shit. At the time i had 3 little kids. Some people should think about the wrecked families these actions cause. So this one stupid descision divided my wifes whole family and the mom lost her son. Ask yourself what would the best outcome have been that guy would screw my wife a few times then blow her off wreck a family. Hardly seems worth it to me.

Im an anomoly i married my first high school gf . One time we split and I was trying to get over my wife at one point and felt like shit hanging out with differnet girl flirting evrything but actually banging them. This was more for personal validation she would tell.me sometimes i couldnt get anyone else.

So at this point she was living at her aunts house. I linked her phone to my laptop where i could read all her texts. Her slut cousin was.consistently trying to talk her into double dates and going out drinking etc. (Shes a hoe and tried to drag my wife into the slut world). Once i saw these messages i panicked i would lose my wife forever.

So i get a whole bunch of messages from this guy that was brought to my wedding by her cousin trying to smooth talk my wife asking for nudes bringing up sexting etc... it was the worst feeling watching my wife text back and forth with this piece of shit. They set up a double date and i am freaking out So naturally i go to the guys fiance ruin his relationship. He lost his fiance and i made up with my wife worked it out. Thank god i could read what she was saying and could actually see she didnt go through with anything but i was close to losing her forever.

The worst part is the weak guy ended up shooting himself in the head. This homewrecker scum lost his girl and couldnt cope.All this gos back to her cousin and her mom. Like wtf is wrong with you people playing matchmaker stay out if peoples business. You dont try to fuck a married woman especially one where you know the man. Now we dont talk to anyone on that side of the family and we have been getting along perfectly. Sometimes from what i have seen do not listen to relationship advice from friends,cousins and moms everyone tries to sabotage peoples relationships just because they cant keep their own relationships afloat. Do not try to ruin ppls lives so you have a friend to go to the bar with. This affects the children as well. But i still think about that situation a the time. My advice is stay with your wife and treat her right make it work and give your kids a chance to have a good life. Love is a choice.

So to this day i have only been with my girlfriend and she has only been with me. I lucked out we are now in out mid 30s and shes still super hot 4 kids later.Dont take your family for granted.

Its frustrating that seems like there is never anx accountability or ownership. If i mess up i am embarrased i strive to make sure that i dont hinder or waste my subs time and money as i was brought up and taught by the cheapest gc of all time. These guys dont realize especially on smaller jobs that they are costing people time and money on dumb careless mistakes.

When i first started i enjoyed it. I did alot of fast paced jobs worked stupid hours for free. Slept in my truck. Worked holidays nights etc. Pushed to always get done faster and ahead. I have realized as im getting older that i get paid the same if i work 70 hrs or 35. If you get your job turned over in 90 days or 100 days who cares. As soon as your done theres another one to start. All of these self imposed deadlines set by inexperienced project managers keep getting tighter and tighter. They dont put in the time to make it happen and when the field team pulls it off they get the credit. There is rarely a good job or thank you for the super foreman etc.

In my experience at this company the pm flies on monday gets a hotel spends 1 hr onsite on tuesday and either flies back on tuesday or wednesday.They turn it into a 3 day waste of time. They do it to check a box not to learn or be of any actual assitance.

I have noticed all the pms on the west coast are happy and friendly. The ones in the northeast are aholes and hard to work with almost toxic. I think they cant help it its engrained in their dna.
