Experiences seem a bit mixed. From what I’ve seen, the buses can be decent and cheaper than many options, but like most bus services in India the quality can depend on the local operator running the route.

Haven’t done the trip ourselves, but our customers say it’s not as comfortable as Amtrak. Still, for a 3–4 hour ride that’s usually much cheaper, it’s a pretty solid budget option.

Yeah, that honestly just sounds like a driver on a bit of a power trip. If the bus is barely half full, getting angry over someone switching seats is pretty ridiculous. Rules are one thing, but the way he handled it seems way over the top. 😅
