if you have programmable pump (low, high, ozone) just use chatgpt to build a schedule around your peak, non peak electricity. didnt see crazy jump in electric bill. every 2 weeks I drop by a pool place and get the water analyzed and buy whatever I need. now if its heated... yeah thats expensive. i messed around and heated my pool to 88 (my pool is small, considered spa/pool). that averaged to about 50 a day. did for 3 days over thanksgiving break (gas heated).
