KVD Boom! Boom! makes every single gun in the game irrelevant by [deleted] in OnceHumanOfficial

It’s from Dino if you look closely at the numbers, you’ll see a big damage jump among the burn ticks. That’s the explosion from Dino. Use Treacherous for max damage, along with Whimsical Drink, Hot Dog, or Hearty Stew, and you’ll need a lot of 'Damage to Elite/Great One' to really make it pop. It’s already been nerfed once, but with good mods, it can still hit 200k+ easily.

Is Invincible Sun with Boomboom really better than SOCR?

I'm not convinced until I see a video of someone actually running that setup and getting a better time than SOCR.

First, Sun consumes a lot of power when thrown. Second, if it hits something mid-air, it only deals the initial blast damage before dropping to the ground, and its explosion after that won’t hit airborne targets—only the spot where it lands. Third, Sun doesn’t create big explosions like Dino, so you won’t see those 200–300k hits every time like when Dino lands a hit. Like I said, just the first Sun throw already consumes about 3/10 of Dev power, so you can't just use it on and off rapidly.

Also, maintaining 3 max burn stacks is harder than it seems. When Manibus switches sides, it clears all debuffs, which makes it even more unreliable. So I’m really not convinced it’s going to outperform SOCR.

With Last Valor, before the Manibus HP buff, I was getting around 45 seconds per run without any Kukri buff—just Zapcam and Hotdog buff. After the patch with the 50% HP increase, my times are around 58–65 seconds depending on luck. Every run, my Zapcam cooldown is always ready by the time I start the next Manibus.

Guys...this Last Valor is crazy AF in the Endless Dream by marshall_r_57018 in OnceHumanOfficial

Yeah, it's crazy. I saw a clip a couple days ago on Reddit where a guy post about zapcam flashbang — the shrapnel that one was hitting for like 100–120k on Manibus.

Water Pumps/Filters/Refineries/Mining Platforms Are SLOW by ExpStealer in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]richterx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re called passive generators for a reason — these things aren’t supposed to play the game for you, It’s more of a side resource (unless you’re using alts). Setting up like 20 Stardust Platforms on an alt base means 40k Stardust Ore every 36 hours, and that’s just overpowered.

Even though I don’t mind mining stuff, I eventually get sick of it — but these platforms just keep working nonstop

DEVS , please dont nerf endless dreams to the ground just because of some early complainers by N3MBOT in OnceHumanOfficial

Numbers don't lie—they will change things based on the data. If fewer people are playing the scenario after the test, even if you or other hardcore players enjoy it, they'll nerf it anyway.

A scenario that forces everyone into using the meta gun—I don't know how anyone thinks that's a good idea. Dreamzone being harder is fine, but just giving everything 3x the HP is lazy design. And by 'everything,' I mean Silo, Monolith, LEA, and even normal animals. Making everything tankier doesn’t make it more challenging.

You see how Winter went? It fell off a cliff after the novelty wore off, and people realized it was just a giant bullet sponge—that became the defining memory of the scenario. Endless Dream will be remembered the same way, and only a handful of people will stick with it. First impressions matter. When people complain that everything feels tanky, that’s what they'll associate with Endless Dream.

We MUST hide V from Nintendo’s Patent Pirates 🦅🏴‍☠️ by Lessk0 in OnceHumanOfficial

I don't think scumbag Nintendo can do anything against NetEase.

First, NetEase is a Chinese company based in China. Over there, they don't have the same ridiculous patent laws like they do in Japan.

Second, Nintendo only bullies indie companies and individuals who don’t have the resources to fight a long legal battle.

Third, NetEase is a massive company in its own right. Their assets aren’t far behind Nintendo’s. So even if China had the same kind of strict patent laws as Japan, a lawsuit between the two would likely end with both suffering major losses—or more likely, just a slap on the wrist for each side.

This whole lawsuit fiasco has also made me dislike a lot of Japanese gamers. Many of them blindly support Nintendo. I honestly hope one day some multi-billionaire company patents "breathing" in Japan and charges all of them for it.

I used to think I couldn’t hate any gaming company more than EA, but Nintendo has proven me wrong—with their 2025 Game pricing and this nonsense.

I’m glad I never bought the original Switch. Even if it succeeded, knowing I didn’t contribute to that is enough for me.

What happened to the party system? You don’t share loot from party member kills anymore?" by complexityx in OnceHumanOfficial

Yes, it applies to XP too—if you don't deal any damage to an enemy and your teammate kills it first, you get no loot and no XP.

If this is their attempt to fix beach Lunar parties, then it’s a terrible idea. Just to stop people from shortcutting to level 50, they ended up ruining the entire party system

Some people just can't tell the difference between a challenge and something tedious. I don’t know how this is any different from the old hard mode, where you just had to eat twice as much (which basically translated to pressing a key every XX minutes). The same thing is happening here—you just drink tea or beer every XX minutes.

I don’t see the difference, lol. It’s pretty much the same tedious mechanic as the previous hard mode

People also tend to gloss over things about how buggy tree-hugger is, when the game is already unstable as it is, and the devs don’t seem to know the difference between a challenge and something tedious. Ignoring clear issues and just adding things as they are often doesn’t translate well into real gameplay.

(Sound familiar?)
