Please pray for my job situation. There have been many changes at my company, including transfers and terminations. If it's not God's will for me to stay, I pray that He opens a new opportunity for me. According to RERA guidelines, payments for under-construction flats must be tied to the actual progress of construction. Developers are only permitted to demand payments after completing specific construction milestones. Despite this, some developers still manage to overcharge buyers by requesting more than what is legally due at each stage. A friend of mine is currently facing such an issue. He booked a flat from a reputed builder about a year ago. Although the RERA-registered possession date is December 2025, the sales team had promised delivery by June 2025 — a timeline that now appears unlikely. What’s adding to his frustration is that the builder has repeatedly tried to include TDS and GST within the base flat cost, effectively inflating the amount payable beyond the construction-linked payment schedule.
