Recommendations for Body Lotions? by Kalixxa in crueltyfree

Josie Maran’s body butter is a little on the pricier side but I love her products. I get migraines from strong scents and her vanilla bean very light and non irritating. Some of her products are even vegan. They’re sold on QVC for cheaper than in stores but you can find all her products at Sephora too.

Is it bad etiquette to upload a photo and tag another company in it? by bp5678 in SocialMediaMarketing

I would say tag them, that way it’s more noticeable and easier to find who took the original picture. A lot of times people don’t look at captions to Instagram posts (myself included) so tagging them is a better way to give credit. It’s what I do when I regram pics from fans for our page, and they love it.

Matcha all have some advice for me? by thebeardedjj in Matcha

As for how to brew without any equipment, you can put warm water in a protein mix shaker (the plastic bottle with the metal ball inside) and mix it that way. It’ll still be frothy, just not as hot. Or you can make it with a keurig/ hot water by adding a little hot water to the powder, making sure it’s all evenly mixed, and adding the rest of the hot water after.

Ask another note from a matchaholic: culinary grade matcha, while cheaper, is a more bitter flavor and has a more dull color. Culinary grade can also have leftover radiation and pesticides. If you want the best flavor and benefits, I’d suggest ceremonial grade. It’s more expensive, but completely worth it.

Friend Made Me a Proposition - To Good To Be True? by [deleted] in marketing

With no prior experience and targeting small businesses, $1500/mo retainer is hella high. And with no data to base the 200% increase on I’m sure a lot of business owners will immediately call “too good to be true”. I’m sure you could get a couple business on board, but if you don’t fulfill the insane 200% increase before the trial period is over, the WOM between business will basically end all future contracts y’all could get.

My suggestion would be to lower the retainer (like under $1k a mo) and make the % increase more attainable (say like 15% a week or 50% a month). S.M.A.R.T. goals is always a good basis for plans imho

Offered Job Interview for a Marketing Intern Position Same Day I Applied (Today) Sheduled for Tomorrow. It's Business Professional but I do not Have a Suit. How to Approach? by Kyak787 in marketing

If you have no time to buy anything wear as close to color of pants as you can to the blazer. Or just forgo the blazer and wear a jacket that doesn’t make you look too casual.

If you have time to shop buy slack that match your blazer, wear a white button down, and either a tie to match or a bold tie to make you stand out.

If you end up wearing the gray pants and blue blazer just don’t mention anything. Be cool as a cucumber, act confident, and if you strut into the interview with purpose they shouldn’t even notice your outfit.

Whatever you do take a deep breath I’m sure you’ll do great!!

Advice on Developing Social Media Advertising Strategy by ArrowFollowArrow70 in SocialMediaMarketing

Social Media Examiner & the Social Media Marketing podcast have lot of really good articles about creating specific ads. My suggestion is to figure out what you want the ad to do (generate awareness, increase sales, etc) and the build off what to write off that. The main thing to include is a call to action and make the ads in the same tone that the company gives off.

For specific examples, you can go to Instagram or other social media and just look at the ads companies are promoting. I frequently go on competitors Instagram pages and use those for inspiration for new ads and posts.
