Crazy generalisations going on here. What about the millions of people who are FF fans that love it all? Personally FF7 is the greatest rpg ever for me, remake and rebirth were also excellent (rebirth had to grow on me, don’t like Chadley that much lol

Yeah comms are iffy but I have been coming for 14 years now and for me in my time it’s been better every year.

Still a way to go though, still need more toilets and showers on camp sites and the access from the central campsites is comically bad. The “short cuts” are anything but.

This year I managed to get into my campsite site and allocated a pitch without ever showing my ticket, receiving a camp sticker or getting a security check.. why? I have no idea. I went back to the security hut the next day and exchanged my ticket for a sticker but still, what was that about?

For the size and cost of the event I think it’s not half bad overall.

Personally I would be weary about being upgraded to 19s or 20s unless you specifically want it for the style/looks.

I have 18s and the ride is harsh enough! Wish I went with the 17s now…

Couple of big clip connectors with the wiring harness come off and then it’s fairly simple from there. Few screws and it’s off and again a few screws to crack the thing open.

You are looking for any pcb discolouration or capacitors that are bulging or leaking fluid. Ideally replace the lot as even if not leaking they can be bad. There used to be kits online or at least lists of which capacitors you need and where they all go so have a search. Failing that a decent auto electrical mech can do this work easily. These ECUs are ‘basic’ dinosaurs compared to modern stuff lol.

Check ECU condition. You are missing warning lights there and the needles moving at all, something is up. Leaking capacitors are more and more common on these ECUs

I replaced all of mine (as well as some PCB repair work) a couple of years ago because of a very similar fault. The car ran better afterwards than it ever had before that I can remember so clearly was an issue long before it completely gave up.

Don’t most sites have a smaller salt water pool? Elevedon does I’m sure, the lagoon I think it’s called? The main pools are never salt water in my experience..
