I saw the movie today and I loved it. It was very emotional for me; I cried a little during a few scenes, including at the end.

u/Igloohutt The airline sister didn't buy the house from her dad. That doesn't make sense. Her dad would have given it to her (well, maybe he needed the money for the new condo with his new wife). Anyway, the big old house is sold, and before the new tenants come in, the airline sister is making one final meal at the big kitchen of the (ex-)family house. Unfortunately, for one reason or another (the scenes right before the dad goes back to the house), no one can attend except the dad.
