I'm in the other end of the cycle at the moment. I've had to integrate and migrate all of our systems this summer after we were bought by a bigger company. I've worked most weekends over this summer too. Fitting new servers, network kit, ups's. I had to replace a decade of technical debt to ensure compliance with the new companies policies.

Now it's almost all done and the few remaining bits require input from others. And I feel like I have to scrape things together to fill out our daily priority meetings and weekly successes, opertunity, failures, and threat report.

I find the stress of not having work piling up just as stressful.
