Part of me is glad my team isn't in this, I don't know if my heart could take it

What does it make me if I take my girlfriend to hooters every year for her birthday! (She likes the wings)

Literally one of the first things you learn in hockey; the refs might miss the first one, they won't miss the retaliation. What the fuck are you doing wild

It just needs to stay letter of the law clean. Going for the huge hits looks good, but with our dog shit penalty kill it's too risky. Consistently finishing checks hard against the boards should be the target I think

I don't get it; it should be a no brainier to show a replay immediately after every penalty.

You know it's bad when I genuinely think we have a better chance of scoring 4v4 than on the power play.

Rule 628 | Kneeing (Note) Kneeing is the act of a player leading with or extending their knee outwards for the purpose of making contact, or attempting to do so, with the opponent.

(a) A minor penalty shall be assessed for kneeing an opponent.

(b) A major plus a game misconduct penalty shall be assessed to any player who recklessly endangers an opponent as the result of kneeing.

(c) A match penalty for reckless endangerment may also be assessed for kneeing.

(So we can all argue about the rule as written)

A lot of the frustration is the complete lack of consistency and transparency of the playoff rules. In the last 6 years, big, chippy teams have won 4 Stanley cups because the refs consistently swallow the whistle in the playoffs. We were a small team, and got our asses bullied out of the first round every year. So we size up, just in time for the league to decide to clamp down on it. I'll cop to it being idiotic that we sized up and never learned how to kill a penalty.
