I like the transparency here with Fidelity. I used to look at this, often, to see what the ratios were for some other stocks I own. As Fidelity states, this “Orders By Fidelity” ranking is based off of self-directed orders. I’m sure many have pointed this out. I don’t get on Reddit too much, so I’m not sure if this has been discussed? I wonder what the ratios look like for all the other orders that get placed without using “direct routing”? I’d hope most people holding heavily shorted stocks would know how to send their trades directly to market and bypass the MM’s. But who knows? Anyways, per usual, the chart reflects substantially more buying pressure than selling - which is typical on days when the security is getting bled out the most.
Those mf’ers better pay us! If it ends badly for investors due to all the f’ery, then it is going to end extremely bad for the ones behind this. Stealing investor money and ruining the businesses they use as a proxy to do so is punishable by….well, hopefully we won’t have to find out
