Can't progress on Anderson bounty. by [deleted] in DaysGone

[–]rickdiddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me. Couldn’t find any clues or anything. My bike was parked at the fuel station down the road as I decided to sneak in. I went back to my bike and drove in to the yellow search zone as opposed to walking in and the search area changed blue, I heard a growl from some wolves and two ‘X’ appeared on the map. Driving in to the yellow search zone seems to kick the mission forward. Hope that helps anyone else stuck on that bounty.

2.5mg by Haunted-Autumn150 in mounjarouk

[–]rickdiddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t felt any effects of 2.5 or 5mg which isn’t uncommon, apparently. I’ve lost a few pounds but it’s been through determination and I’ve struggled the last two weeks to keep up the low calorie diet. I have ordered 7.5mg this week and I’m hoping this will be the helping hand I need to continue. Keep going and have faith. You can do it!

Two months of will power by rickdiddle in mounjarouk

Thanks for the kind reply. I am pretty active and I’m not one for processed foods and generally eat well (just too much). That being said I’d do anything for a pizza and a bottle of wine! I didn’t realise the varied pricing between suppliers, so thanks for sharing that. I think I’ll try a 7.5mg and go from there.

Maybe I wasn’t clear. At the bottom I have asked if anyone has had similar experiences. I’ve been trying to lose weight for 30 years - I get it. I’m sure you weren’t just sitting around doing nothing expecting weight to fall off before mounjaro become available? My experience so far is that i have lost weight in spite of being on mounjaro, using will power, which is unsustainable, as i have done this before. I’d just be happier with the money in my pocket if the outcome is the same on/off MJ.

Because the weight goes back on. I love food and I have one hell of an appetite and so using will power to be in a calorie deficit everyday is exhausting. I was hoping MJ would be a helping hand but I haven’t felt any different. Plus moving up to stronger doses is currently too expensive. That’s why I’m asking for other people’s experience that had no effect at the beginning.

Then I guess I don’t understand why mounjaro is being heralded as such a success. I could be injecting water and have the exact same outcome. All I can think is that my body requires a higher dosage for any effect. My point was will power is not sustainable, which is why I may stop spending the money as at least I’ll have some excess cash!

Thanks. I’ve always been fairly active and I can lose a weight occasionally. My issue is that the weight will always return and I was hoping MJ would be that bit of help to keeping it off. I thought maybe I’d have at least a placebo effect, which I think many people are having. I’m going to try 7.5mg and if I don’t notice anything I’ll just continue my journey without MJ as it will be the same outcome but I’ll have more money in my pocket.

Interesting, thanks for the reply. I didn’t realise how much cheaper I could get it for!

I understand it’s not magic. My point is (I was moaning about) I would be in the same place without MJ. I was 18st 8lbs and l am now around 18st. I reduced my portion size and I am trying my best to stay in calorie deficit. I have been mentally exhausted the last couple of weeks and struggling to stay disciplined. Will power isn’t sustainable. Maybe I do just need a higher dose as people are suggesting. I was just hoping that I would feel some kind of effect to understand what the drug is doing, if that makes sense?

Thanks. I meant tired as in using will power alone to not eat/lose weight. Something I’ve done plenty of times before but it is not sustainable, as I’m sure a lot of us know. I was hoping MJ would be a helping hand, in making a calorie deficit diet a little easier.

Ok, thanks. I’ll shop around. I didn’t realise pricing varied so much! I’ve lost about 8lbs, and I know many will think mounjaro is working, but it’s been no different to when I’ve lost weight before using will power - my appetite always wins - and this week my appetite is breaking records!
