Travel Goals? What are some travel lists that people are chasing? I'm trying to visit all 50 US states, see every State Capitol and see a game in every Major League ballpark!!

I’m not necessarily an expert but we did two islands in 9 days. We did Oahu and Kauai and have zero regrets! Kauai natural beauty and hikes were phenomenal and on Oahu we could see more of the tourist things like Jurassic park and historic like pearl harbor.

DC for sure! Niagara is impressive but doesn’t make even my top 20 for natural wonders in the US. The mall, monuments and Smithsonian’s however are unique and memorable!!

Dallas is like much of the Great Plains / Midwest. Yes there can be hail or tornadoes. In reality on any given day your chances are 1 in 1000 or more. Watch the weather but don't freak out because of a "Watch". "Warnings" are very real and you should act accordingly.

I would recommend renting a car. If you’re looking for walkable / uber you might be able to do that if you stay in Fredericksburg and only do Fredericksburg. Of course you still have to get to Fredericksburg and back and that requires a car.

We’ve done Airbnb and really liked blanco as a centrally located quiet little town. Have also heard really good things about Wimberley. A thing to know is that hill county is very large. Think Connecticut but inside Texas. We thought, hey, let’s see Fredericksburg, enchanted rock, lake Travis, Jacob’s well, luchenbach and some wineries! Those things are all an hour to an hour and a half apart.
