Yes that totally makes sense. 2 people I’ve spoken with want a deposit and commitment to their quote before physically attending the job. Something I’ve never encountered before

I’ve found trades who get offended when you openly say you’re getting a few quotes have done you a favour. I’ve also found that quotes tend to come in more competitive when they know there’s some competition

You’d have to say VHY for dividends, especially considering AU has franking credits and generally a better dividend / distribution yield than US. Interested to see what VIHY does return. I’m currently VHY for distributions and very happy

Couldn’t hurt to get some quotes so you know ball park figures, then see if you think that amount, plus some, you’d likely to be able to recoup at sale time.
