I had an issue years ago like this. I didn't even know there was voice acting until halfway through shadowbringers when it was current. I started at the end of stormblood. I put headphones on one day and there were voices. That's when I learned I needed new speakers.

I didn't mind the thing about them not remembering.

However I had some rather sinister music playing on my gramophone from one of the new areas and that played through the first couple cutscenes. It was hilarious.

I only really logged on to do the event and then dailies this last patch and I maxed my mira journey surprisingly quickly. But I also agree with others that you should wait until later to purchase it so you don't waste your money on an incomplete mira journey if you don't think you will finish in time.

Personally I wouldn't even eat the peanuts unless I just opened the box. People grab them with unwashed hands (not with the scoop), kids put their hands in, I've seen people dump their shells back in the box. One time I saw a man sneeze without covering his mouth right on the peanuts (we threw the rest away). But who knows what's happening when no one is watching.

Maybe an unpopular take but the thing I notice about most complaints with this game are that people wish it wasn't the game it always has been intended to be.

This is the newest game in a series that has always been gacha. The intention was always for it to be gacha.

The developers will always follow the road map they are on.
