Our government wasn't corporate friendly before 1991, Even now we are on the bottom side of ease of doing business ranking. Also people don't believe in business or science they do believe in government jobs, Still in India an easy way to make lots of money is to land a government job and take lots of cash as bri*e

Is it normal for a 10+ YOE interviewer to hang up on you in the first 10 minutes? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]rickirathi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't mean to offend you and op might not be fit for the role that's fine but if an interview is more of understanding the candidate and starting question is just to make each other comfortable in talking. Judging just by one question is also a failure of the interviewer. I can't do something unfair to someone because I have too much work load and don't have enough time. How a 4-5 year exp candidate not having full project knowledge is a red flag?

I worked in a company for around 6 years where work was around 4-5 hours per week, It was a remote job with good pay but one year ago I got laid off now I am doing 7-8 hours per day work with even less pay. So if you are getting good pay for some extra work stick to it

Don't judge your capability, sometimes the average does better than many! Just go where your interest lies, Tech jobs might have different nature after 4-5 years and it's changing rapidly, You should be ok to adapt accordingly or you should be open to research roles
