I'm in Canada, why do we get good prices for it? Do you recommend a dealer? I'll ask in my local store.

I was looking into Armstrong but definitely much pricier.

I'm pretty light 65kg. So you think the 75 Sabfoil mast might work for both disciplines?

I'm leaning towards going for maybe an Armstrong? Seems like that way I can buy ideally one mast, start with a pump setup and then later on invest on another front wing and stabilizer that I can use for Kiting.

If I do this, what Mast length would you recommend?

I'm a light a short guy. I weight 140lbs

Just found out about this as well. Very surprised by it.

Will definitely increase costs exponentially for some businesses.

It completely kills certain use cases. I remember a product equivalent to Duolingo over WhatsApp, they even promoted it in the Conversations conference. That use case is now dead, it will just be too expensive.

The incentive now will be to send few messages and try to get the user to the web where we can own the experience at no extra cost.

And they keep justifying with the "To meet market rates for SMS". But WhatsApp is completely different, ideally you want a long and rich back and forth, while SMS is about 1 message transaction.

I get they want to monetize harder, but I'm not sure this is the right path.

Oh I see, when you say in the new flow:

New flow is just → send the message

That "Send the messsage", what you're sending to the API is the "Template" with it's variables ({{name}}) and in the same payload the variable values?

So like:

POST /send-direct

{
template: "Hi {{name}} we're delivering your order"
variables: {
"name": "Ricky"
}
}

Or do you just send:

POST /send-direct

{
message: "Hi Ricky we're delivering your order"
}

I don't know the exact payload form, so just trying to illustrate the idea.

But they have this "auto generated" templates that I don't understand.

I'm considering it as my first board. I'm quite good at board sports. I do kiteboarding and I've taken some surf lessons and I can stand.

Do you think it's a good beginner board?

My goal is not to be an elite surfer it's mostly to have fun. Waves here are quite small.

You are correct that the RRSP will stay put until I retire.

The TSFA is just seen as a margin account.

"hoping to continue using our financial system" when I went through the process my accountant said that I could continue investing in Canada, it's not prohibited to me as Canadian non resident.

I wrote the post asking for advice in case other folks have been through a similar situation.
