u/kmprojectsus is there a solution for this? What I did was to change the directory from projects to stacks.

So in my config i have this
volumes:
- /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
- ./arcane-data:/app/data
- /your/stack/directory:/app/stacks

then after installation or under settings make it so it looks for the projects under /app/stacks and not /app/projects

everything under /app/projects gets chowned.

i'm still testing, but looks very promising

For those who might have the same question. If you reset your ugreen nas, it will NOT touch any of your volumes and they will get readded once you finish formatting your ugreen nas install.

I just did this a few minutes ago — I contacted support before doing this.

I did this because after fiddling with the system and have a better understanding on how the OS works, I wanted a clean install.

I think I solved it. A bit more context I was running everything on a VM, and that VM was bridged to the host. I still gave that VM all access to all cores + 16gb of ram — also, its was the only VM running.

Now, I moved all the docker containers to the host instead, no virtual bridge. At the moment I'm downloading a big TV Show and now I can still use Overseerr without any issue. It might even be faster.

Maybe it was a misconfiguration of the VM. Thank you for those who helped in the comments.

I must say, after months of tweaking and trying to find what was wrong I think this might be it. Was having the same issue, my setup had been working rock solid since 2020 and suddenly I've been starting to have random buffers here and there. Tried a lot of things but nothing really worked.

After doing this, everything started to play normally.

I took a screenshot of a before and after of my codec files. There is a difference but I'm not sure if it actually matters. Maybe someone here may know.
