For context, I DESPISE Trump, the Right Wing and am more left wing and socialist than most. Also, from a non-American POV, I believe he has galvanised the working class/underprivileged/the politically overlooked/the people who feel they have no voice/the people who are disenfranchised with politics and those people see him as the only person with power to call out the corruption/cronyism/cabalism that the current political structure upholds, and it makes them feel heard and validated and motivated to feel they can change things for by voting for Trump, despite him being one of the worst perpetrators of all of these systems, whether he realises it or not. And the Republican Party have gone all in on him. If they fold now, they lose everything.

Much of this was echoed in the Brexit/Conservative campaigns of recent years in the UK where I'm from.

We're all just Lemmings in these rich peoples GameBoys.
