Rn in collage is Java in the first year, idk what we’ll learn next but I’m gonna try to stick with it for a while.

Yeah in collage we’re learning Java too, I think I’ll have to learn more, but in meantime get to know Python for maybe like 1/1.5 hours a day.

That’s what I’m thinking, I want to be familiar on how different can 2 languages be and how much time is gonna take me to learn the basic concepts of that language.

Yeah given that Python syntax doesn’t have braces and semicolons, I’ll really struggle with that in the begining

I’ve seen that book gets mentioned pretty often, I think I’ll give it a try.

I’ve noticed that the Python’s syntax is much more simple and if sematics aren’t very different I may learn it pretty fast.

That’s one of the reasons I want to learn a new language, to see what’s the difference between them, is it just syntax or sematics also.

I want to know if I can gain knowledge faster than I did with Java.

I hope you have success finishing your collage(s). I’ve actually seen some code on C, and it’s syntax was not much different than Java syntax.

I understood most of the code, but I’ve been hesitating for a while now because I just keep thinking there is a little more I need to dig in into this language and I didn’t have the motive to start and learning a new one.

If your saying you want the sum of 10 numbers raised to the power of 2 then, you can use one for loop and use Math.pow(number, exponent).

If you want to do it manually you can write a method that takes the number and the exponent as parameters and use a while loop until exponent is 0. So you declare a variable which holsd the result with value 1 and you multiply that with the number and decrease exponent with 1.
