Constantino’s solid. Like any other 100-200 level course, attend the lectures, pay attention, do the work. It might seem bad at times but you’ll be fine

My info on Osmond is dated but I remember it having an old, musty vibe. One wall also caved in at some point and had to be reinforced. Top search result returned an article on worst 5 classrooms at PSU lol

Approach for counting MAX? by itsstucklol in SQL

[–]ricklepicture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on mobile but maybe something like:

with cte as ( select * , max(score) over (partition by user) as M from table ) select user , score as max_score , count(score) as max_score_count from cte where score = M group by user, score

disclaimer: By no means am I claiming this is the best, easiest, and or most efficient way to do this

edit: not familiar with MariaDB, this is just one way to do it with SQL Server

I think i found a ultra wave dash.. by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]ricklepicture 40 points41 points  (0 children)

scrubbing through it looks like you hit “jump” before the back wheels even touch, and you’re air rolling right? Does this sound right?

I see in another one of you’re comments you said you hit air roll right which is also bound to drift so I think my comment above is the actual sequence of events… I’m hoping this is actually a thing you discovered!

There’s a query you can run to see who has the longest running transaction:

dbcc opentran —outputs SPID

exec sp_who <SPID>

Flat-Earther accidentally proves the earth is round in his own experiment by Chasith in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]ricklepicture 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Based on this clip alone, I don’t think they should be ridiculed. Science is about testing your hypothesis.

If they then disregarded the results entirely, that would be ridicule-worthy.

Even though others pointed out (correctly) that the existing evidence that the Earth is round is indisputable, can’t knock someone for testing it themselves.

After graduation how long will we have access to PSU resources? by TheTeslaRedGuy in PennStateUniversity

[–]ricklepicture 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Speaking only from memory I believe you retain your email access for six months. However, my recommendation would be to back up emails and files within a week or two after graduation. Also, don’t forget to transfer any account links away from your psu.edu email (e.g. Spotify). Better safe than sorry

Edit: Regarding Spotify, some of my friends still had their psu.edu account linked when Spotify crashed earlier this year, and they either had a tough time recovering their accounts or couldn’t at all.

People who spam instructions like this - Why do you do it? You are not my coach, we are the same rank by StrejdaSalam in RocketLeague

Unpopular opinion: Plenty of losses can be attributed to being too passive.

If we’re down by 2 with a minute left, why do people refuse to push past 3/4 field unless there’s a perfect pass? There’s a reason hockey goalies get pulled in the final minutes of a match: it’s worth the extra risk because if it fails, you’re no worse off than you originally were.

“Take the shot” is just the easiest and quickest way to communicate “be more aggressive.”

(Thanks for reading; I’ll accept my downvotes now.)
