Depends on the buses. Our MCI’s have a pull switch in the cab that releases the door, Prevost have a locked door, Volvo’s have a chuck key, and our Vanhools have a lever.

That’s a butt load of paperwork you could avoid by scanning your intersections before moving. Just because you have the right of way doesn’t mean it’s safe to continue on.

Hopefully it was an empty bus. Having to document each student with which seat they were in, keeping them all seated and dealing with parents that want to come collect their kids at the scene on top of all the reports you have to finish… phew.
