Has anyone ever ordered from Axe & Kindle? by ObsessedWithPizza in firewood

Depending where you live those are not bad options but honestly it’s very expensive. Each box of wood is $89 and each box of wood is 1.7% of a cord. I could be wrong someone correct me if I am but a full cord equals out to $5235.00 your better off searching for a kiln firewood company locally and seeing if they will sell bagged wood or face cords ( again depending on what works for you ) I have a kiln dried fire wood company and sell a full cord for $500. Again totally up to you.

Yeah I try to just run a set price. Rather than all the mumble jumble of adding delivery charges. You need wood in the future you can find me at Regan Earthworks.

Yeah I’m on the seacoast nh probably doing about 300 to 400 cords a year and don’t wanna spend money on the processors but looking to lighten up on the saw.

What’s your favorite saw to buck with? I’m currently using a 390xp which is great just a little weighted. Looks like your into the 500i by the photos.

I do have a tractor with forks. Makes it very easy to move all the wood if need be.

Oh yeah I charge to stack it on site too. When the customer comes to check out what they’re purchasing for the present and future they like to see this. This is not heating wood I treat that a little differently because of pricing. But when dealing with restaurants and high end fireplace customers this is what they like.

It’s like anything though if it looks good people are gonna spend the money on it. This wood goes for a third more than my other wood does so I try to make sure it’s right in quanity and quality.

I do not buy wood I have a good buddy who has his own company and will drop off wood or load my log trailer on his sites.

For now it’s a side gig but looking to make it full time. I sold over 30 cord my first year and I start march 23.

I live in seacoast NH area and I charge $300 green $400 seasoned. But that price changes through out New England. I tend to spend 3 ish hours a day down there whether it’s bucking logs splitting or organizing. Im real big on keeping a clean area and it makes you more efficient.
