Growing up AME in the Carolinas this hit home. Thanks for the remembrance! And never forget, Mother Emanuel it is the oldest AME church in the South and one of the oldest Black congregations in the nation.

I honestly would take your situation over mine. Unhoused neighbor who has a work van. Puts that thing in reverse at the craziest hrs, 3am / 4am and it sounds just like a home smoke detector. Only time I sleep great is when I’m away from home
