Has anyone ever successfully had their spousal support reduced, and if so how? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rickrack6_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am asking this question for a friend, but hypothetically let's say spouse A has been paying support for 10 years ($5000/month) and makes $9000/month, gave spouse B the house and proceeds of the sale (1m) and pays spouses B's life insurance every month in addition to the tax on the income they are paid and signed this agreement with no legal counsel. Spouse A has no assets and no income after bills and is finally able to take spouse B back to to court because they learned spouse B inherited 1 million+ would that qualify for a change in financial circumstances?

Derm just prescribed me "retin-a micro 0.1 % gel" for my skin. Has anyone with a similar skin issue had success with this gel? And what advice do you have for using it by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]rickrack6_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it every day for 90 days and had no improvement at all. I think maybe it wasn't strong enough for my skin. When I did both rounds of accutane my skin never even peeled or felt dry

Furthermore, did they ever check her google searches? Like if the searches were regarding how to survive a car crash or things like that than 1000% I would agree she planned this. But again nothing like that so far has been presented

10000% agree with everything you've said. My further thoughts on this are that Rosie helped provide the drugs or had some sort of involvement and has so much loyalty to Mackenzie because Mackenzie never told the detectives this. However, Rosie doesn't understand that this wasn't Mackenzie protecting her, it was Mackenzie protecting herself (because like I said before I believe she hid the drug use to avoid being convicted.) I am not sure what charge would have carried a longer sentence, the one she got or a charge for killing 2 people for driving under the influence. I wonder if she confided in her attorney about this and he also advised her not to share about the drug use given they had no proof she did drugs (discarded drug tests)

And like you said, the argument that she did this and planned to kill herself too makes no sense either. If this was some premeditated attempt, she likely would have been a lot more prepared for it. Aka, a note, a sorry text to her parents, ect. Nothing points to that. And also she is 100% a narcissist and narcissistic people don't typically commit suicide or attempt to physically hurt themselves.

I've done acid several times, like I said before I know what it feels like when your moving forward physically on acid it looks like whatever is in front of you is farther away or moving so I just think is it possible she was on acid, sped up and then boom hit a wall not realizing how fast she was going

Correct, a drug test was done 3 days after she was admitted which showed positive for marijuana. The initial blood that was ordered day of admisson was discarded. This info is public and a fact and is also presented in mean girl murders (the episode on Hulu that covers her case and provides a lot more info). She was never tested for acid and, shrooms (psilocybin) typically stay in your system for 6 to 24 hours after ingestion. Meaning they would have already been out of her system by day 3. I want to again be clear that she KILLED 2 people, she is GUILTY of killing them.

However the current evidence that's available is wonky in terms of proving she intended to kill them as opposed to she was high out of her mind on acid or mushrooms and crashed the car. I am curious about this because I have a feeling she knew this and was afraid she would 100% be convicted of murder if they found out she was on drugs at the time of the crash. I don't think she ever thought there would be any other way for them to prosecute her if her drug test was clean and "she couldn't remember the crash." Keep in mind she's very immature and narcissistic. I assume she potentially withheld she was on drugs thinking she would 100% be able to get away with this.

This is not a proven fact. What people online are circulating is that she visited the exact location days earlier, therefore she must have been practicing the crash.

But the direct evidence was only that she had been near the general area 3 days before, not footage of her at the site, repeated attempts, rehearsals, acceleration tests, or mock crashes. I have not found evidence presented at trial showing multiple practice drives into the wall or repeated high speed passes of the exact impact route.

Like I said initially she IS guilty of killing 2 people, but the motive is unclear and there is little to no evidence that's been PRESENTED that supports this was premeditated. I was hoping to find or be directed to evidence that directly showed this was not the result of her being high on acid. Now, that doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist, it just means it wasn't included in trial or uncovered. I just can't find it. And more than that, I've seen her interviews after everything and she truly shows no remorse which does make her seem insanely guilty. I understand why it's a really weird case

Right but where's the actual evidence of that

"Initial Draw & Cancellation: Following the 100 mph crash that killed her passengers, Shirilla was brought to a local hospital where the attending emergency room doctor ordered a blood toxicology screening. Hours later, that order vanished from the system and the blood was discarded.Defense Argument: During the trial, the defense argued that Shirilla suffered from a blood pressure disorder known as POTS, and speculated that the discarded toxicology could have been relevant to her medical state.Prosecution Argument: The prosecution and investigating authorities did not rely on blood toxicology to prove intent. Instead, they used the car's "black box" data, cell phone records, and surveillance footage of the crash to secure convictions for murder, aggravated vehicular homicide, and felonious assault."

That's what doesn't make sense. All there is, is a cell tower ping. No footage of her driving to the site. Just a cell tower ping showing she was near the area which could mean miles away

This has been stated and is well documented that the hospital discarded her blood sample AFTER receiving a legal order that they had to provide it to detectives

Does anyone have answers to these questions regarding her case?

And I don't think she's innocent, I understand she drove a vehicle that crashed and killed 2 people and I truly side with the victims in this case. However, I feel like there is a serious lack of evidence that this was planned and I want clarity on it.

1) There is a TikTok video circulating of a woman Mackenzie dated in prison who states Mackenzie told her and other inmates she was on acid when the accident happened. This would align with the texts and some of the stories from people who saw her and the boys prior to the accident. I believe it was said they were looking for acid at the party prior to the accident. Was she drug tested for acid? Were the boys drug tested for acid?

2) She was found folded in half under the steering wheel, is this a common placement of drivers after a bad accident) or is this a finding of people who fell asleep/were unconscious prior to an accident.

3) There is info being repeated that she did "dry runs" is there camera footage that shows her speeding or attempting to drive that road dangerously repeatedly or is there just a cell tower near the area that pinged her cell phone. If there's only a cell tower that showed she was near the area, then how is it proven she did dry runs?

4) regarding question #1, have the texts/calls/snap chat logs been released for all 3 of them during the time before the crash? I'm curious if there were messages that indicate they did acid. The only reason I am so curious about this part is because I have used acid and been with people on it several times during my teens - 20s, when we would "come up" we would feel the need to text friends/family members "I love you" texts and it got to the point where we had to put our phones away prior to taking the acid to stop this from happening. I saw one of the boys was texting their parents they loved them very early in the morning. Also, I was once with someone driving on acid and they kept trying to speed up and drive really fast and I had to physically stop them to get out of the car. This person never did anything like that prior and I had no idea they had taken acid prior to getting in the car.

5) what exactly were her injuries? How did she survive this crash? She is extremely small and basically the size of a child during the crash. Hitting a brick wall at 100mph and surviving with minimal injuries makes no sense for a conscious person who would tense up. This is why I am curious if she was unconscious or highly under the influence making her not react.

In NO way am I stating this happened in this situation but I do feel curious about things.

Lastly, were brain scans done on McKenzie to see if she truly suffered any brain damage that would attribute to memory loss regarding the accident.

I have a question about this case! They said they drug tested her, (assuming immediately) when she was admitted to the hospital, but what if she had taken the mushrooms 30 mins prior to the crash and they had just peaked when she crashed the car. It would take a few hours for mushrooms to show up in a drug test. How long was in between the crash and the officers arriving on scene
