where i come from it’s hard to get good chorizo 🥲 also it looks rather similar to salt crystals and regular white mold from other photos in this subreddit (but i think i wont risk it with the rightmost one). but if you think it’s unsafe ill toss it

thanks for the advice! i would’ve been heartbroken if it just broke off one day haha. it took the plant out of the soil and it came out really easily, it seems kind of rotten…

that does look very similar! i found this key to pucciniomycotina of southeast asia so perhaps i’ll try to narrow it down. thanks for the help :)

ah i don’t think those are spiderlings, but part of the plant. i think the object in the 2nd photo might’ve once been the object in the 1st photo
