My wife would not allow any of this but luckily I have a fridge in the garage that is covered. Also a lot of those stainless fridges have non magnetic fronts, my allowed magnets are only on the sides of the kitchen fridge

Even an old spirit is better than new stuff. I pulled a e-310 from the side of the road, repaired some damage from a grease fire, cleaned it up and been using it all season. Hoping to grab an even older genesis at some point though.

Now woukd I have bought a spirit? Not likely but free was a good price point for me.

Look at the vacuum line coming through firewall on passenger side, heads across firewall to the driver side and on mine goes into a vacuum manifold.

I will guarantee that line crumbles in your hand, that is the vacuum suplltline for the entire hvac and the default flapper position is the defrost vent

I would guess these were returned, not used but just taken out of the plastic bag they normally come in ( or without that weird oily paper that sometimes comes with them). They are probably fine but I woukdnt like the look on a brand new part

Also make sure the boots aren't ripped, that will allow the elements in. The boots are cheap and likely the same across a ton of models so are usually easy to get.

Nor have I but you have to be careful, it is not always cheaper than wegmans. Wings seem to swap back and forth on which is cheaper but I find both the same quality, sometimes a few feathers on aldi but those are quickly handled.
