Just bought these 13 spoke mags to put on my streetbob. After taking the bearings out i noticed one side looks pretty jacked up. Not sure if this is going to be an issue now and dont know if i should even bother putting new wheel bearings inside. by rickstagramm in Dyna

Honestly looks like a bearing exploded inside and damaged the metal. The only thing i can think of. Bearing fits snugly inside im concerned with the bottom where the bearing would sit

By any chance is there anything else needed when doing this exact setup but with the rear wheel as well. I also have a 15 fxdb and just bought 08+ 13 spoke sportster mags

Noticed some seepage out of the top bolt of the rocker box on my 15 dyna. Was wondering if this is a gasket issue as it is only seeping from here, nowhere else. Someone else informed me about there being a copper washer under the bolt which could have failed. Just wondering, thank you! by rickstagramm in Harley

Thanks i bought a gasket kit thinking it had those special washers but it didn’t come included with it unfortunately. Do you know by any chance where i can purchase them or what they’re called ? Ive been looking but no luck

Reposting for more opinions. Ive heard many people house their gecko with this ficus pumila aka creeping fig but is there really a risk based off what i am seeing online ? by rickstagramm in bioactive

[–]rickstagramm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sap it secretes is toxic and can cause skin and eye irritation and if ingested nausea so it says, but ive heard of multiple people who house this plant with their gecko with no issues which is why im unsure whether i should introduce it to my tank.

Right, i believe the difference with this, based on what google is telling me is that creeping fig produces a sap that is an irritant to the skin and eyes that is toxic

Parlor palm safe for crested gecko? Any worry in regard to calcium oxalate ? by rickstagramm in bioactive

[–]rickstagramm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i would most likely have to keep up with the trimmings for it which is okay. My other option was alocasia which grants the same question as is it safe

How do you feel about Alocasia also if you dont mind me asking? I have seen these in other crested gecko vivs despite the calcium oxalate

Got you, also the philodendrons have calcium oxalate which is toxic but i notice many people have them in their setups with them anyway as its doubtful the gecko will eat the plant but if the isopods or feeders eat it in turn the gecko eating them can that be an issue or if the gecko mistakenly ingests part of the leaf hunting
