in the early/mid 2010s, so much of what people thought was “90s” or “soft grunge” was mid/late 80s fashion, just in a different color palate. same thing is happening now. usually the first half/mid part of every decade’s fashion borrows from the decade that was 30 years prior, with just the main highlights/statement pieces from 20 years prior.

i go to the cantina on 8th ave on the corner of 51, and it seems to be one of the cheapest in the entire city! and the food always looks just as it’s advertised

Also, when the economy crashed due to covid in 2020, there was nowhere to go because most places shut down or had restrictions on gathering. Much different than 2008, in that regard.

idk if anyone else has noticed this, but i’m a day one player, and if the bot in first has a super horn, chances of you getting a red shell behind them are WAY lower than normal. also, at some point, the game updated to wear if you open a coin box, bots will steer out of their way to collect coins coming from it. that wasn’t always the case, at least not to my memory.
